Hey everyone,

This thread is about how our elders and ancestors still guide us today. We will be talking about language, stories, and how people like us can step up and keep culture strong. This is a space for all of us to share learn and speak from the hear t.

To start us off

What’s something you’ve been taught by an Elder or someone older in your life that still stays with you?

Could be a story, a word, or just something small but powerful. Share it below. 👇🏾

Re: NAIDOC TOPIC 2

The more I hear Welcome to Country, the more I learn everytime. I feel so 'connected' with First Nations peoples. I am still learning. @ArraDreaming

This is not really part of what I learnt, but today, I had to order glasses, and I specifically chose a pair with Indigenous art because part of the sale goes towards Literacy programs for Indigenous people.
