I am sure that is not the case @MDT and it is simply the new kid on the block having to start at the bottom. That totally sucks and does not help how you feel but look at it as knowing more areas and gaining more experience in a number of aspects of the job. That can only be a positive in moving forward and having a more permanent role in one are down the track. Unfortunately it is often the case when we start out in a new job that we have to start at the bottom - that does not mean that you are not capable or valued - it just is what it is to begin with. No doubt that is making you feel like you do not know your place in this job but that will come. Go easy on yourself - it is hard starting a new job and takes time to find your feet.
