i know its hard. its been the hardest thing iv ever had to do. and its even harder with having mental health issues ontop of that. i do try to seperate my MH issues from the kids but sometimes it hard to do that. my 8 and 7 year old know what happening, i dont anything from them because it scares them even more. my 5 years old does really understand any thing yet but i know he will soon as he gets older
