I have now been off work for 20 months @Snowie - and I thought it would only be a term too! I can't even remember any of last year - that was how hard it was I left work on the Friday feeling so unwell I could hardly walk and by the time I saw the doctor on the Tuesday I couldn't walk - and was sent straight to hospital via an ambulance - then everything went downhill rather quickly! Every time I started to feel a little better I would fall even lower and that continued on for most of last year. It has taken more than 18 months just to get the meds right - and I had some really nasty side effects from some of them! Hopefully now that we seem to have the meds right we can also see some improvements - I really need that. I told my GP yesterday that I will definitely not survive another setback - I just do not have the strength to go through any of that again. I know that does not sound positive at all but I honestly cannot do any of that again.
