Yang to Yin I'm not familiar with - but my yoga teacher does Yin classes.

She said they have to hold the poses for 3 to 5 minutes - which she jokes about, because it's so long.

That sounds like what you are doing?

They're doing the Tibetan 5 Rites in my classes at the moment, & gradually increasing the number of rounds for each pose.

It's eventually supposed to be 21 rounds of each pose. Thank goodness we don't have to do that many (of each).

Even 5 or 9 rounds of the spinning around (in circles) one leaves me feeling dizzy...
