That must be so hard for your step-children - esp the one that is close to his mother

 

And how wonderful your step-daughter gave you a Mothers Day card etc - that is such a loving gesture

 

I have gained the feeling here that these kids have not had an easy life - but that you have filled the spot as best you can as their step-mother - it can be done
