I actually love being able to edit, mostly because my spelling and grammar when useing tablet or phone are terrible, but also because it is nice to be able to retract some things that seemed like a good idea at the time. I do understand why it annoys some though... perhaps there could be a way to limit notifications to first post only? Just a thought.
