Psssst @CheerBear and @Zoe7, this is a super quick flyby, but I wanted to at least get a conversation started about our DBT adventure. @Zoe7 I know you are superly duperly struggling at the moment and it is absolutely a bazillion percent ok if you aren't up to this.

I think it would be cool to title the thread "Let's do dialectical behaviour therapy (DBT)." What do you think?

Then I think we need to have some introductory stuff based on the preface and pages 1-16 of the manual. And THEN I think we can get stuck into the actual skills. What do you think? I know my slow and steady methodical detail-orientated approach is probably the total opposite to your approach to doing things @CheerBear. Smiley Very Happy I'm really conscious though of what an awesome resource this thread could potentially be for a lot of people and therefore I think it is worth taking our time with it. It makes me so cranky that there is such a strong evidence base attesting to the benefits of DBT and yet it is inaccessible to so many people. The idea of making it accessible in this way feels super cool to me. Also, given that there are about a bazillion skills, I can see that this is going to be an ongoing adventure like the great yoga adventure so I really think we need to pace ourselves!

Anyway, let me know what you think. Oh and by the way, I'm posting this here because the ocean is much quieter than either the nest or the octagonal room, which I'm pretty sure reflects the fact that you guys are actually sociable whereas me, not so much. Smiley LOL
