I really understand how that sense of safety needs to happen (and also how quickly everything can be set back). Ugh.

Spotlight is one of my favourite places probably ever @Phoenix_Rising ☺ I am having a Spotlight trip either tomorrow or Wednesday because I can't not have a project to work on. This is exciting!

I remember how incredibly cool I thought it was to hear about your crafting @TheVorticon 😎

As far as making a dragon goes @Phoenix_Rising, it took me a couple of months (on and off at the time) to get from knotted mess, wonky square-ish shape, lots of circles (which is called "in the round" crochet) to following an amigurumi style YouTube tutorial. Amigurumi (which is the little pocket sized mini toy things) is mostly done "in the round" so in a circle that grows. Beanies are made in a similar way and my big blankets are made in the round. Most blankets and flat pieces are made in a row, like with knitting. I think it's worth starting with a row kind of thing first until you can get the feel of a hook, an understanding of the structure of a stitch (I'm guessing you'll get this part waaaaaay quicker than I did haha), you can count stitches (again, guessing you may have less trouble with this than me), and they're similar-ish sized.

I'm so looking forward to this fun day adventure and can't wait to see who else may join us!
