Re: Taking the plunge

@Former-Member You might be enjoying lunch atm, I do hope it goes well, though I do know there will be difficulties facing chemo tomorrow for your friends. As you stand by them, we stand by you.

I was touched by your post, your warmth comes through the screen. I'm relieved you have dealt with the issue and that you find a soft place to land here, I do also. Our conversations mean so much to me. I do know we are all here facing our own issues, but it's important we are kind. We might not always understand, but we can always be kind.

I had a Drs app. This morning, always a huge thing as it means getting a car there, waiting room, and today an X-ray. I'm having trouble with my shoulder, a lot of pain, so decided to give my dr a test run. I've lost confidence since the nose issue, and today it took some manoeuvring to get the X-ray. I'm Seriousely considering going somewhere else, it's just so stressful, that makes me think twice. If my counsellor comes, it makes me look like a serious problem, like brain dead!!!!lol. I'll see what the results are and go from there.

Back home with fur baby and a coffee, doesn't get much better than that,

I too enjoyed the short stories, small things mean so much to us, like someone thinking of us, and just being there with us, makes the world of difference.

Is it bingo today????? I feel a win coming on!!!!!!

Enjoy the rest of your day. Take care.🌷🌷🐾🐾🎶🎶

Re: Taking the plunge

Hi @Maggie @Former-Member @Former-Member @utopia @Faith-and-Hope @Shaz51, and thankyou for thinking of my during my 'down time' the last few days.  Hello also to @Former-Member @outlander who made a visit here earlier.

@Maggie I am beginning to feel a little better - fewer tears, a little less heartache and finally getting the anxiety back under some degree of control.

Even to the extent that when a thunderstorm came through with some lovely rain about an hour ago, I was out there and enjoying a walk around the paddock in the rain.  Hubby was sleeping, so he wasnt there to tell me what a fool I was for being out there in a storm.  Anyway I am feeling somewhat improved.  Did you know there is a full moon tonight, and even a super moon from what I heard today on the radio?  I was looking at the moon last night, it was very bright and lovely.  And I thought of you Maggie.  My favourite little ringtail possum paid me a visit too in the moonlight.  I thought he would eat our grapes, but in fact I think he is only eating the leaves.  Which are becoming quite sparse.  Speaking of grapes, I picked a very large heavy bunch from our vine yesterday.  They are particularly yummy, especially knowing I got them before the birds.  I have been keeping an eye on a particularly cheeky butcher bird and some parrots over the past days.  I couldnt risk those grapes one moment longer.  Another large bunch is there too, but in a less convenient spot for the birds.  I'm hoping I can leave it a little longer before having to pick.

I know many of you wrote to me on my other thread, and I still owe you a reply.  I just dont feel like revisiting there yet.  I will though, and will respond to all of your messages then. Sorry for my tardiness.

Sherry Heart

Re: Taking the plunge

Glad to hear you are up and about @Former-Member. Live walking in the rain. But won't do it if there is thunder or lightning.
